Kirtas Technologies wanted to promote the breakthrough technology of its automatic book digitizer, an exciting product that is changing the way the world accesses and shares knowledge from books. We devised an extensive public relations strategy targeting key contacts in both trade and general markets, among print, electronic and broadcast media.

News of the book digitizer first caught the attention of Popular Science Magazine - who awarded the company with its prestigious Best of What's New (BOWN) Award, resulting in national coverage in their annual BOWN issue as well as a booth at its first public trade show at Grand Central Station.

Since then, the company has been featured on CNN, USA Today, New York Times, Democrat and Chronicle, Rochester Business Journal, Wired Magazine, Associated Press, National Public Radio and the local Rochester television stations.
