The Bosom Buddies Cookbook

After winning her battle with breast cancer, Jane Gordon decided to create a cookbook filled with recipes featuring the home-cooked meals her friends and family brought to her family.

Jane's first call was to Winterman Ink. Gradually the concept for the book took shape and graphic designer Pam Bernstein was added to the team to create the whimsical look of the book. Winterman Ink edited, published and oversaw the complete production of the book. We were also involved in publicity and marketing of the project.

The Bosom Buddies Cookbook is a wonderfully diverse cookbook featuring over 200 recipes, including 40 signature dishes from Rochester's top restaurants plus a sprinkling of hysterical quotes about food and friendship. Because of a local benefactor and the support of a network of retail outlets, all sales went to build a resource/media center with a library of critical reference and support books, a state-of-the-art computer with broadband Internet at the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester (BCCR) in Rochester.
